The Coat Closet provides warm winter coats, snow pants, boots, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves free of charge.  The Coat Closet reaches out to residents throughout Chippewa Valley area.  No questions are asked about income or need.  We do limit each person to one set of winter wear.  Distributions are held throughout the fall and early winter.   Use the download links in the red box or more information about the Coat Closet and the distributions.  The Coat Closet entrance is located in the alley behind 510 Winter Street in Boyceville. 

Distributions for 2011 are done.  Thank you to all who helped make this year a hugh success.  This year we gave out 434 coats, 148 pairs of boots, 116 hats, 360 pairs of mittens and gloves, 302 pairs of boots and 121 scarves.  That makes a grand total of 1481 items distributed!  Click here to download a poster of total items given away by the coat closet since the beginning.

 
Donations of new and gently used winter coats, boots, etc. are always needed.  Due to our limited space we are focusing on children's winter clothing and have only a limited number of adult coats.Our greatest needs are for children's coats, boots and snow pants.  All used items need to be gently used, clean and in good repair.   Cash donatons are welcome too.   They can be sent to the Coat Closet, c/o United Methodist Church of Boyceville, PO Box 94, Boyceville, WI 54725.
